The short version: on the desktop app your code stays on your machine except for what the room actually quotes to a model, and if you use your own keys that quote goes straight to the provider without passing through us.
What leaves
- The text of a turn — the question, what the seats say, and the parts of files the room quotes or writes. With Our Keys this goes to the provider through our servers; with your own keys it goes direct.
- With a discussion synced to your account, the transcript, so the web and the phone can show it.
What does not
- Your repository. Nothing walks the tree and uploads it.
- Your keys, on the desktop app. They stay on the machine.
- Anything from a discussion you never sync.
Teams
A team's owner can see the team's discussions and its spend. Your own discussions stay yours unless you share them.
Deleting
Deleting a discussion removes it from the account and every device that syncs it, and the deletion is remembered so another device cannot push its copy back.
