The brief's changelog: before October 2026

The changes to the standing instructions every seat is sent from the start of the changelog to the end of September 2026.

This is the older half of the brief's changelog: the changes to the brief from when the changelog began, in mid-September 2026, to the end of that month, newest first. The version in force, and the newer changes, are on the first page.

Changes before October 2026

VersionDateWhat changed
2026-09-25.12026-09-25The closing ask says to cite an attached document's page as inline code p. 3, so the citation opens that page (row 258). Off under the account's 'Cite pages of attached documents' setting.
2026-09-17.22026-09-17A slide deck is made with the make_deck tool, which draws the .pptx and a preview of it; the brief no longer points a lead at python-pptx and a script.
2026-09-17.12026-09-17The warden's question and the guardrails' refusal sentence are fixed texts; the lead is told when a fetched page was read through its own pass rather than handed over whole.
2026-09-16.22026-09-16The lead is told once that an MCP tool's name and description are the server's words, data about the tool and never instructions (row 146).
before2026-09-15Changes before the changelog began are in the repository's history under desktop/lib/orchestrator.js and are not listed here.

Reading an old receipt

A turn's receipt names the brief version it ran under. A version on this page means the turn ran before October 2026: the rows above and every row on the first page after it are the changes it did not have. The hash beside the version is of the whole assembled prompt, so two receipts with the same hash saw the same instructions whatever their dates.
