The Team plan is $40 per seat per month. It includes everything in Pro, $20 of credit per seat a month for the team's first three months, pooled on the owner, plus shared workspaces, central billing and key management, and admin controls.
Seats and invitations
The owner buys a number of seats — up to 100 — and invites people by email from Settings → Team. An invitation is accepted from the same pane on the invited person's account. A person on a team whose owner holds a live Team subscription is on the Team plan; that is what per-seat means.
Roles
The owner pays and can do everything. Admins can invite, remove, change roles, add team keys and install Slack. Members can share and use what is shared. Team keys — provider keys an owner or admin adds — are encrypted like personal ones and can power any member's seats.
Shared workspaces
A discussion or a project can be handed to the team. Once shared, every member can read it, continue it, comment on it and edit its ticket fields. A desktop discussion that is shared can also be driven by teammates if the owner allows it; see "Co-drive". Sharing something new needs the Team plan to be live.
When the plan lapses
If the Team subscription ends, nothing is deleted and nothing is unshared. Shared discussions stay readable to every teammate, but become read-only for them: a teammate opening one sees "This discussion is read-only: the team's plan has ended. The team's owner can renew it in Plan & Billing." The author of a discussion can always write to it. Renewing the plan restores everything at once.
Billing
The owner is billed for every seat on one subscription, managed from Plan & Billing. Changing the number of seats updates the subscription at once, prorated: more seats charge the difference today, fewer credit it back.
