The ticket layer has four more parts beyond the ticket itself.
Projects
A project is a top-level folder with a key. Filing a discussion in a project gives its ticket that key's prefix and lets the project's components, releases and board filters apply to it. On the Mac the project panel also lists the folders on disk the project's discussions run in. A project can be handed to the team, in which case every discussion filed in it is shared.
Comments
A comment is a note on a discussion that does not start a turn — the room does not answer it. Use it for a decision, a link, or a question to a teammate. Comments appear in the transcript in their own style, and in the ticket's activity feed with everything else that happened to it: stage changes, field edits, who was assigned.
The inbox
The inbox collects two things: tickets assigned to you, and comments on tickets you own. Each item is a line you can open; opening it marks it read, and there is a button to mark everything read. On the Mac the inbox is a button in the sidebar with a count; on the web and the phone it is a page. Nothing else goes into it — a room finishing a turn is shown on the discussion, not in the inbox.
Releases
A release is a named group of tickets in a project, with an optional date. Assign tickets to it from the ticket strip, and the project's release list shows how many of its tickets are Done. It is a way of asking "what is left for 1.2?" without a filter.
Activity
Every change to a ticket is recorded — by whom, when, and from which app — and shown oldest first under the ticket. The room's own moves are recorded too, marked as the room's.
