The desktop app keeps to the shortcuts a Mac user already expects. These are the ones that matter day to day.
Writing
- Enter sends your message. Shift+Enter adds a line.
- Type / at the start of a message for the commands the room understands.
- Type @ to ask one seat rather than the whole room.
- ⌘U attaches files or photos to the message you are writing.
Sessions and windows
- ⌘N starts a new session.
- ⌘, opens Settings, on the room pane.
- ⌘0 resets the transcript's size; ⌘+ and ⌘− make it larger or smaller.
- Escape closes whatever panel is open — a dialog, the search box, this help centre.
- ⌥⌘L brings the app's window to the front from the menu bar item, wherever you are.
Finding things
The search box above the session list finds discussions by their words and by their ticket key, so typing LTB-12 opens that ticket. The board and inbox have their own buttons in the sidebar.
